Hello everyone. I have a 125g tank. I had a 75g and just got my 125g and now im wanting to change some things up until my 210g is finished being built (maybe at the beginning of the year). @ the moment i just have a YT 4in, long nose hawk 3in, cleaner wrasse, firefish, mardarin goby 1in, small marine betta 1.5in and a engineer goby 4in. the thing is, is that i jus added a shark egg that i got and it has about a month to hatch. i was now trying to build my tank around my shark. i have a 30g tank which i just have a maroon gold strip in so i could put some of the other things into if need be.. what do you guys and gals think should be my 1st move on if i want success in my situation? then you could give me your 2nd,3rd move after that. i really want to keep this shark.. thanks in advance.. i added a few pics of when i had it as a coral tank and how i have it now..

LOVE UR SET!!!!!!!!! anyway um Ive never had
a shark so what type? also any fish
less than 5 Inch shouldn't be kept with It.... if your getting a large tank (I WAS SO CONFUSED) upgrade with the shark then do some more open LRsape..... also maet more circular. you may need a wider tank for him..... also sandbeds can be small with those. hope I helped!!!! good luck w the shark...

I believe it's a bamboo shark cause it's in an egg. They don't need rounded corners on a tank as they sit still in the sb most of the time.
And yes he will eat anything that's smaller than them. I think they grow up to 3 feet.
Your best bet is to go with predatory fish.

What do you think I should do with my betta?? He is just a inch or so.. Should I move him to my 30g until he gets alil bigger..?

He maybe ok as long as he stays away. They do intend to eat slower prey, like shrimp and other crustaceans

Man I also have a tobassco basslet in my 30 g which I forgot about.. If I add the betta would that be 2 much in the 30..?

Why are you going nuts with fish? Do you know what you want to have running? Reef, fish only, species only? For the shark you should have at least a 300 gallon+

I'm not going nuts with fish..? I've been had this fish in my tank for over 3 months.. My 30g is a reef tank with just a tobassco basslet and a maroon clown.. The only thing I was asking is if I put the marine betta in my 30g tank would that be to much for my 30g.. My 210g tank will b just fine for my shark

The marine betta is a predator by nature. He should be fine like I said before

Well I was taking everyone response into consideration.. Ok thanks man

Well that's what the site is about. Taking others info in so you know more and we help each other that way. Don't take just my opinion, but the majorities :)
Best of luck, I'd love to see it hatch. Personally my best fish I own also grows 3feet and as long as I have him I'll keep upgrading tank sizes.

I've got an oriental sweetlips that was maybe a 1/2" big 2 yrs ago, now he's maybe 6-8", reef safe with caution! But I'm willing to risk it!! He may eat my clams and shrimp, but he's just a good boy, thank god!
