So I'm trying to finish the transfer of livestock from my old 30g to my rsr350. I have left my ywg and pistol shrimp for last. They had a cave under a piece of liverock. I tried to pick it up fast when I seen them but shrimp retreats into the liverock it seems. He's nowhere to be found. I placed rock in a way that he needs to come out, but still have not seen him. My watchman goby is going bananas trying to find him. Any advice on how to net him so I can put him in his new mansion?????

Congrats! Hope he's happy in his new home :)

Cool I just moved last weekend and couldn't find my pistol shrimp and I thought he died during the move but like u said I think he crawled up in a hole in a rock. Cuz I Hurd the snapping later that night after tank was all set back up!!!!!! Go luck on the move.

Mine doesn't snap that loud, I thought he snapped normal but I went to the LFS and I heard one snap so loud it scared me! :D Not sure why mine doesn't snap that loud

Yea mine snaps lound it's crazy how u can hear it under water and throw the tank. And when I first got it my wife could not figure out what the noise was. And she still doesn't believe me that it's a shrimp making that noise lol

Thanks everyone! I got him and his best friend acclimating together!
