So my summer project is getting a 265gal up and running in my living room. I already am redoing the silicone and building a stand/canopy.

I am now trying to come up with ideas for the aquascape. I am planning on doing an LPS/Softies mix, and for livestock we are doing multiple schools/harems of small fish (think smaller wrasses, anthias, gobies, etc).

I have looked through the sticky thread but I would like to see your favorite 200gal+ tank aquascape.

Thanks in advance! Now let's see those tanks!

I like the arches coming forward, did you use any cement/putty to build them?

Just used instant ocean putty with several different size rocks. And put a monti or fast going sps to incrusted to hold it all together

I've recently become a fan of some of the ceramic pieces, if you browse Vida-Rock and PM Reef's sites and YouTube, you might find some interesting pieces that inspire you or lead you a certain direction.

Fabricate it.
pvc and 2 part putty.
You can make arches how you want them to look.
You can pre-assemble and change the design before glueing the pvc.
You can design it to hide pumps, returns and chords.
Use different diameter pvc through out to get a branching affect.
You get “tunnels” all the way through.
You can cut multiple entry’s and exits in the pvc.
You can make a rubber stamp from a piece of coral and imprint the putty before it dries..

This sounds interesting, do you have any photos or a link to a thread?
