Need some color in the tank

I am quite new to saltwater tanks and trying to read as much as possible. We have a 125 gallon tank that is serviced once a week by professionals. We have metal halide lights. We started with some common coral to get our feet wet, but now I want to add some of the colorful corals that I see in photos on the forum. Everything we have right now is some shade of brown, but it's growing and seems to be doing well. I really love some of the bright, multi-colored zoanthids. Is this a good choice for beginners?

Most definitely.

I would start with some lower end ones price wise, see how they do and then advance from there.

Resist the urge to blast them with a lot of light initially.

Can you post a pic of your set-up?

What are your thoughts on Kenya trees? They would be a nice add. (one of my fav's )
Yellow polyps, Pink xenia, or possibly a small group of rock anemones placed here and there to add some 'pop' to your color palette

zoa's, mushrooms, leathers, and lps, are not hard to keep. save some money and maintain your tank yourself. it's really not any harder than fresh. for the cost of the pro, you can load up on coral. this is my first sw. 1.6 years and so far everything is good. no dosing required.

I am afraid I am totally addicted to the gonipora. they come in purple, blue, green, red and pick. I have even seen an orange and yellow one. They add a ton of color to the tank. We are the same as you love color.
