Yes you are right aqua man I forgot for a second we were talking about a 150 tank smaller doses would be better. to get it up. safer too. Exotic go with the 30ml a day check in three days and report back numbers.
also Mg does last awhile if you use a good reef salt it should stay relatively high. The BRS kit gives you so much. I will replace the CA and alk way before even making the second batch that came with the kit.
Joekool- While i certainly dont disagree that going slower is always better in this hobby, he is increasing 30ppm of Ca, and 3 DKH. At 30ml per day that will take 2 weeks, i dont think that is necessary.
The only one that is a concern is the ALK if he has sensitive corals in tank. Otherwise 3-4 days to increase alk is more than enough.
You mentioned above, and i agree, not to iincrease DKH more than 1.4 per day. Even at 1 per day, its 3 days. at 0.8 per day 4 days. Why 2 weeks?
