Need Some Help Deciding

Hello all - I am waiting for my Waterbox Marine X 35.1 to come and have everything I need to get in ready to cycle with the exception of 2 items. 1) A Powerhead, which I am leaning towards a Nero 3 2) A protein skimmer which I am leaning towards a Tunze 9004 Comline DOC DC. My drawback is I will not be able to afford both to start the tank seeing I had a surprise car repair. I am thinking of getting the Powerhead first, but was wondering....Should I wait to start the cycle until I can afford the protein skimmer or cycle now and add later?

You could get the Nero now and wait on the skimmer or get the skimmer and get a cheap powerhead for now. I use one of these.

You won't need the skimmer for several months, powerhead first you will need.

Get the Nero, you can add the skimmer once you start adding bioload
