need some help to start cultivating pods

hello Guys
I bought a small 10g tank
little air pomp
I got the Cheetos ( guy from LFS recommended)
so I want to start cultivating pods as a live food,
I am confused
I read this article

they ask me to buy (PhycoPure™ Copepod Blend) add it to the tank ( so the water will turn green) then add copepod, and what next?
feed then? one article says to add (PhycoPure™ Copepod Blend) again if the water is getting clear

other article says to use Phytoplankton daily do feed them I got Reef PhytoPlankton (as adding a little to my DT)

so this is the part I dont get( different articles, different approach)
do do add reef phytoplantkon to keep the water green or any phytoplankton dosing as written on the bottle?

I think it is the same? but instead of PhycoPute they are using ocean magic to make the water green?

I would default to the instruction on the bottle.
Its a fine line with some of these products.
You can starve the colony or over feed and foul the water and kill the colony.
In the end its a learning curve.
I am expecting via UPS tomorrow a phyto and pod kit.
So I have a lot to learn as well.

I just received my order from Algae Barn today! I bought some Decapsulated brine shrimp eggs and some ocean magik. I'm hatching some eggs as we speak and so far my tank seems to like the ocean magik, but it is way too early to tell. It says 5ml for 20g, but I only dose 1ml for my 13.5g Fluval, and today was the first day, but I intended to be extra cautious in my dosing. Probably won't dose another 1ml till a few days. I'd rather do not enough then the opposite. I do have many copepods though, as I can see them on the black part of the sump wall, my juvenile clownfish love to peck at them. Are you just trying to grow copepods or arthropods also? I'm very new to this hobby but my understanding is the copepods are very small (size of a sewing pinhead) and are sometimes look white. And the arthropods are much bigger (grain of rice), darker and ugly.

Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong because this is my understanding mainly through observation.
