So I've had this guy for several weeks now and he has been doing great so far but tonight he just doesn't look like himself. Normally he is expanded fully, about 6-8 inches across. Curious if anyone has some experience with these and might be able to tell me what's going on with him.

Water parameters:
SG: 1.025
AK: 8 dkh
Cal: 440 ppm
Mag: 1400 ppm
Ph: 8.3
PO4: 0.25 ppm

Tank setup:
150 gallon reef tank mostly lps and softies
Rio 3100 return pump and maxspect gyro 150 power head set at 20%, orbit marine 48" led light, bubble magus curve 5 skimmer, mr 30 carbon reactor, and a 20 gal refugium with chaetomorpha.

Forgot to mention, their is some small stringy brown stuff in his mouth, and I feed him twice a week with brine, is it possible that is just his poop.

I keep these at the store... I have a large one in the display. We use AI leds at the store so they get much more light than your orbit can put out. I dont know if that has anything to do with what's happening here though. I do know that these corals can poop when you feed them meaty foods. If he's only been this way for a day, then I say give him a couple more days to get back to normal.

Id just move him untill lower light for now. He does look a little "bright" so i wouldnt hurt to do so. How long has he ben like this?

Less than 24 hours
Post up a photo of it tomorrow to see how its doing. If it doesnt look well by tomorro night, i suggest you dip it in some kind of antiseptic/and or coral dip

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, been outa town for a few days, here's a pic of him today. I moved him into a cave with less light and lower flow, he seems to like it better there.

Awesome, yea just leave him here for a couple days. Maybe feed it once a week to get it happy again other then that it looks fine
