Need some help

Ok, I am very confused. I looked in the middle chamber of my filter area and have these white things growing all over the chamber. Thoughts on what they could be??? I'm assuming some kind of worm, getting a picture is almost impossible.

Pileolaria maybe, or Pineapple Sponges.

Have they taken over the chamber yet?

If they look like worms they are pileolaria, they populate in chambers as those and overflow s. +1 pileolaria^^^
