I have a royal gramma but I want to get a splendid dottyback Will they be good in the same tank in a 32 gallon biocube

I know I know Liveaquaria is owned by Petco (or not anymore) but I still follow their compatibility guide it hasn't done me wrong yet:

I do have a royal gramma but no dottyback. The royal isn't overly aggressive and hasn't had any issues with the other fish in the tank. My kole tang on the other hand...

Dottybacks can be extremely aggressive, especially towards anything remotely shaped like themselves. I wouldn’t do it.

Maybe if your tank was larger you might get away with it, but not in a biocube
