Hello all, im looking for a little help. With this being my first post let me tell you about my set up.. I have a 125 nitrites and ammonia at 0, nitrates usually stay around 10-20. Salinity is at 1.025. Temp is 75-77. Sump system and protein skimmer. 2 current ic pro 6ft lights and 2 wave makers. Tank has been set up for around 8 mths.

Currently have 2 clowns, dragon wrasse, red coris wrasse, labouts wrasse?, 2 blue spot gobies, 2 carpenter gobies, 2 chromis.

Various frogspawn, hammers, and torches.

My question is this, why can a tang seem to not survive? What am I missing? Everything I have mentioned thats in the tank and does very well, but if I try putting a tang or angel in there, they dont make it. Is it the tangs or me? Normally I would say me without question but with everything else surviving and thriving makes me wonder. Just had a leutenant tang die in QT after 2 days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure about your nitrites level? I would say that it is a high reading and could be the cause of problems

Tangs and angles are territorial and sensitive to change. How big is your tank? Mine like warmer temps. 81F also remember tangs need algae to eat, they graze continuously.
