So I have a reefer 525xl full of coral aND fish and a reefer 170. I live north east of orlando between orlando and daytona. Right on the path of Mathew. Planning on power going out for a while. I have ups backup on both yanks. 1400w I believe. My main tank has 2 gyre 150s, skimmer, and vectra m1 main pump. My 170 reefer has mp10 and a Jacob 4000dc pump.

I have a large 7500w portable generator.
Don't know how much gas I will be able to get. Right now I have about 2 days worth.

What are my bare essentials to run. Main pump or just run a gyre for adding oxygen.

On second tank running mp10 near surface enough??

Really appreciate the help.

Tank usually runs 78 degrees. With no ac is gonna get to 85 or higher. Guess best thing to do is float bags of ice??

Bags of ice, or run a fan across the top of the water. The return pumps should be enough to sustain your tanks inhabitants, hope this helps. I'm sure other will be along shortly to help you out!
Do you work for boeing?

If I were in your shoes I'd do what Cameron said. How else you going to cool it down really?
