I've never looked at hair algae under a microscope so I can't say for sure, but it does have the kind of branching structure that distinguishes bryopsis. If it truly is, I'm really sorry to hear, as my understanding is it's difficult to get rid of.

How can you tell bryopsis apart from green hair algae under a microscope?
