Hi all, I need some good ideas to remove some algae growth on some SPS frag plugs. I do not have time to mount them germanely yet, I am really busy with work. I travel for work. I know I need a grazer fish but I don't have time till October 6th I think I hate to put a new fish in and leave a day after it goes in. Thanks for the input

I typically use a nylon brush to get off any large algae growth. If this is coming from outside of the tank, I'd cut the frag off and replace the plug itself to avoid bringing in the algae. If it is growing in your tank, I've had luck with manual removal, hermit crabs, and large turbo snails.

Yes I will eventually cut them off I am one that I really don't have problems with Algae except here they are on a frag rack and I got to leave tomorrow got a few snails and some hermits but none have found my frag rack lol

Put em to work and drop them on there! haha. Mine probably hated me when I first started the tank. I was always moving them to trouble spots.
