I came across an ad for a 90 gallon tank that has a very good price. My hesitation is that I am with in a couple hundred bucks of finishing my 60 gallon setup I already have started. Basically just plumbing and than I can add sand and rock. Also the price of the 90 gallon seems very low compared to other listings in my area. What would you do or have you done in a similar situation?

I would grab the 90 and set it up and make the 60 a QT tank or secondary for the future

I would just ask yourself does the 60g accomplish what you want and then decide based off that

^^ Exactly that^^. Once you're up and running, the cost and frustration of changing things go up dramatically. Even if the 90 isn't a good gamble (and I would inspect it closely), you should consider what you really want to achieve first and build your system accordingly. Just my two cents.

Why is the price so low compared to others? No doubt the seller is saying "quick sale" or something similar, but is there more to it? Not worth the risk imo, especially if you're going to be happy with the 60
