Need some lighting advice

@Humblefish Went with your suggestion of the Reef Breeders 16" Superlux. What would your advice be as to what power to use for each channel and for how many hrs/day?
I've got a three-tiered egg crate setup as a rack and will probably have a mix of SPS and LPS. Maybe a softie or two in the sand on the bottom.

Because of the SPS, you'll probably want it to ramp up to 70% for at least 8 hours per day. 8 hours at 70% + 1 hour of ramping up + 1 hour of ramping down = 10 hours of light total.

I wanna say I was seeing around 300 PAR in the middle of a 17" tank @ 70% with that light.

Thanks HF. Glad I asked. Logan from Reef Breeders suggested 20-25% on both blue & white channels which seemed low to me. I've got it mounted on a standard (10"x 20") 10 gal.
Is there actually a Ramp Up and Ramp Down? The instructions are really vague. Looks like only ON/OFF for each channel with a specified intensity setting.
I was thinking I'd run blue only for an hour on each end with both channels running for the specified time (8hrs)
