So this is all new to me and I don't have any vision on aquascaping. I have had the luxury of a LFS giving me a barrel of dry rock and use what I need and return the rest. I pay for what I use out of the barrel. Is this enough rock in the tank? I don't like the look of a pile of rocks lol. The tank is a 220

I think it looks great. How much rock you use is entirely up to you. You will be the one looking at it on a daily basis. Start with what you have, add your livestock and decide if you need to change things around. It's much easier to change it before adding corals. Personally, I wouldn't change it.

Is this a fish only or do you plan on corals. If corals what kind?

Not sure if I'm doing corals. If so I have no idea on what kinds. I plan on doing mainly fish. My friend owns the coral dudes shop so I might have a few sneak in the tank that the wife likes.

4 clowns, blue hippo tang I think it's called, cow fish, yellow tangs. I hear yellow tangs don't get along with other yellow tangs. Not sure if a lion fish would play nice either with the community but those are neat looking.

Hippo tangs like to hide in the rocks when sleeping, stressed etc. I've seen tanks with more than one yellow tang. I am not familiar with the cowfish or lionfish. Clowns are pretty easy and with a 220 I'm pretty sure you would be able to have 2 pairs depending on which ones. Live Aquaria is pretty good at listing info for each fish you are considering. They also have a compatibility chart you can use as well. Take your time stocking. It's going to be very hard to go slow, but it will pay off in the long run. This is coming from lessons learned. Quarantine everything in a smaller tank before putting it in your main tank. Ich can cause major headaches if you have to get all your livestock out to treat. It's not fun tearing all your rock work down trying to catch your fish to treat them in a separate tank. Velvet can wipe out all your livestock in a couple days as sometimes the symptoms don't show themselves until it's too late. Ask questions in this forum. This forum has saved my livestock a few times. The people here are incredible. Just remember though that what works for someone else, may not work for you. Every tank is different even if using the same equipment, lighting etc. Good luck and I wish you much success.

I like the aqua scape. It looks good. You may want to add a tunnel or go through on the left side for the fish to go through as well and hide. You can also glue the rocks together if you like.
