Need some opinions on dosing nitrate and phosphate

1ml of neophos will raise 1 gallon of water to 1.2ppm phosphate. So 1ml in 16 gallons would yield .075 so I cut that down to .5ml and should result in .03ish phosphate. Please check my math though.

Aiming for .03ppm phosphate not .7ppm

Such a calculation will be nearly worthless, except as a crude starting point. You might need more than 10x that amount to get to your desired level since so much will bind to rock and sand.

Yeah that’s exactly my plan. A good starting point to do while it raises to my desired level. Hopefully when I get more fish I can back off the dosing and let the food/fish do the work for me but we shall see.

All sps have better polyp extension after the two days dosing so we shall see.
