While you wait for a hands-on trainer have you tried the Neptune Systems' community forum? You can get lots of help there from other users who have tons of experience and have very generous and helpful attitudes toward newcomers.

I understand you do not have the newly released version of Apex. Rather you have the "old" version.

Assuming that is correct there are a lot of expert users available to you.

My recommendation is that you start by writing down what you would like your Apex to do for you.

Take each Apex module, one at a time, and write down the most basic thing you would like that module to do. Do not try to be comprehensive at this point. You can start with the most basic things for it to do first. Then you can build upon that little by little as you learn more.

Am I right about the Apex you have now?

Thank you! Well the apex is brand new some modules are used some are new and 2 of the 3, 8 bars are used and i think all the names that appear on apex fusion are form those that are used.

The reason I ask is to know whether or not the Apex base unit has ever been setup before or whether it is a blank slate. If it has been setup before then there are some steps you will need to take to 'zeroize' it back to its original factory configuration. It is not hard but it makes life easier.

I recommend you go onto the Neptune Systems' forum and start asking for the correct and CURRENT procedure for doing this.

I'm setting up mine currently. It's not as daunting as it seems . Just go step by step with the getting started manual then setup the modules one by one. Finish the basic setup and classic programming then move to more customized programming .
The Neptune forum is a great place to clear up any questions you have and to have guidance on your programming and having ur commands checked before applying them to avoid mistakes.
