i have the two little fishes kalk stirrer and a Kamoer x1 pump. I can't figure out what type of connectors are needed to plumb the output of the stirrer to the x1 dosing pump. the output of the kalk stirrer is 1/4 ID and the x1pump has a 3mm ID tubing. I do not want to use the ATO and gravity feed method.

forgot to mention that the flow I am trying to achieve is - kalk stirrer ---> x1 dosing pump ---> sump

I am in the same boat, trying to patch together a combo of tubes and fittings and whatnot to get my TLF kalk reactor and dosing pump working.

I have a Jebao dosing pump—not enough pressure in it to really stir the kalk, but I really like the precision of it.

For the moment, I am going to use the TLF as a reservoir, and run the dosing pump intake line into the output of the reactor and down into it, and have the jebao pull from there. I have a stronger pump that I’m hooking up to the input on the TLF, and will refill the reactor every day with that pump. That will give it a good stir as well.

Kind of an off-label setup, but the normal TLF configuration would require fancier gear than I am inclined to get to automate a stronger pump and avoid accidental overdoses. My volume is only about 55 gallons—doesn’t take much kalk to over do it.

One trick is I have some RO tubing terminated by a check valve coming off the input. That makes it easier to hook up a pump to add RO.
