Looking to get a new internal pump for my 90gal. Bang for the buck/time tested would be a GREAT combination! Thanks in advance for your time and help.

I've had good experience with quiet one pumps on my old 65gal. I ran mine for 3+ years with no issues.

Also many have bought the jebao dc return pumps. I purchased a dc12000 to test. But haven't had a chance to do so yet.

Eheim 1260 or 1262.... I am running my skimmer, reactor, chiller and return all of an eheim 1262. It is a beast of a pump... Not the cheapest but the most bang for the buck definately.

Is there a smaller model? This would strictly be a return pump.

yeah Ehiem is supposed to be bullet proof, i'm using the Jebao DC6000, had a cheap Rio before. i'm definitely happy with the Jebao, DC is supposed to be the new best thing, and price is good. its also whisper quiet, i dont even hear it. My skimmer is a different story, im gonna get a DC pump skimmer soon.

I think the 1260 would be fine if you want to look at that line. Their Compact+ line is also worth considering.

Generally speaking, a 500 gph or 700 gph pump is what I would recommend, unless you have some crazy plumbing that would add significantly to the apparent head height you are dealing with.

Mag 5 or Mag 7...QuietOne 2200 or 3000 would also be excellent recommendations IME.

Great! Thank you guys for the recommendations and insight to go along with it. I'll research the brands everyone has talked about and go from there. I appreciate everyone's help tremendously! Thank you
