Need some thoughts/ideas

Hello all. Have a problem and need a direction on which way to go. In my current tank (125 standard/long reef) I house a mystery and a female flame wrasse. The flame has been there since Aug and the mystery was added 1 1/2 months ago. At first, the flame took a disliking to the mystery and let 'em have it. Now... the mystery is returning the favor, but showing just how bad they can be. I have a 240 that these and my 2 tangs and 2 clowns will be going into soon, and wanted to have these 2 wrasses along with several other wrasses making my display wrasse heavy. After the past 2 weeks of trying to keep these 2 wrasses from fighting, I'm realizing that I made a mistake (yep...again).I really wanted the mystery and have owned them before. I know how they can be, but this one is just above and beyond angry.
Problem needing answers:
Remove the mystery and go along with other peaceful wrasses?
Remove the flame and throw out the idea of wrasses?
Try (and hope) a group of wrasses or anthias to keep the mystery from focusing on just one individual?
Other ideas????


FYI.... Currently trying a diy fish trap for the mystery or flame (whichever first).

Depends on your preferences. If you like the fairy/flasher type wrasses then the Mystery has to go. However, if you are interested in going a different route then get rid of them flame. Don't let other people tell you what direction to go in your tank....its your tank....and the fish in it should be of your interest alone.

Not meaning to say don't get ideas or do the research about potential ones, but choose your own destiny

I always appreciate your comments along with others. At this moment, my love is tangs. The mystery might go in lock down ( a 55 sump) for a few until evrybody is cooled down, but not sure yet. I hear ya on everybody trying to imput their own ways though. Thanks

Personally I would get rid of the Mystery, who's to say it doesn't turn on other fish if you get rid of the Flame. I'd rather have 10 less wanted peaceful fish than one wanted problematic fish.

I've never seen a mystery who isn't a bully. I think it's in their nature. Once you add all those peaceful wrasses with dazzling colors, you'll forget he's gone.

Well.... It seems that my mystery decided that I can't own any other wrasses. I haven't been able to find my female flame in 2 days. So
.. when I move the 125 into the 240, I'll decide whether the mystery stays or goes. Lol. Might just give up on other wrasses. The mystery seems content with my tangs (which pick on him a bit) and my picasso clowns. We'll see if he fairs with the new chevron tang and flame hawk P.I.A. is sending tonight.
