So my tomini tang has lymph I have already digonosed that however he doesn't seem to be getting any better it bin going out for about 2 weeks now..

He's losing color but doesn't seem stressed out and is eating well. I feed pellets mysis and Julian sprungs sea weed.

Can anyone help me with a second opinion and anything else I can be doing.

No what's flukes

After reading what flukes are I don't believe that he has that when looking had him closely it looks like his just losing color

I've seen lymph take rather longer than two weeks to go away, but that patchiness concerns me somewhat.

Has this fellow been treated for flukes?

Ok so after further inspection I do see small clear tear drop like spots on him so i think flukes is in order which could be stressing him out causing him to lose color.. if that sounds right let me know..

Can I treat my whole tank with prazi pro

Prazi-Pro is relatively reef-safe, though if you've got any ornamental (feather dusters, christmas trees) worms in the tank, they could be at risk - as could CUC worms such as bristle, spaghetti or hair worms.

Another possibility to both provide immediate relief and identify flukes would be a freshwater dip. Melypr1985 created a clear and concise article - with a video - on how to do that, here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/video-how-to-do-a-freshwater-dip.286639/#post-3487082

It s a fish only tank... UPDATE One day after adding in prazi pro the tang is already looking better.. However i forgot to unplug my uv sterilizer is this a problem?

Prazi-Pro works quickly. Probably not the best to leave UV on while dosing - you'll be dosing again in 5-7 days, to wipe out the young flukes before they start laying eggs. (Eggs aren't affected by Prazi-Pro.)

Yes I planned on doing another dosing on day five which would be Monday then I was going to turn my skimmer and uv back on for a week do a water change and the do one more dosing to be safe. After that I figure once a month will be a good idea to help keep this stuff at bay..

Do you have any food recommendations to feed once a week to as a preemptive strike

Unless you're adding new fish or other "wet" things to the tank, the once-a-month preventative shouldn't be needed. Assuming the flukes are susceptible to Prazi-Pro (most are, there are some that aren't), the two treatments you've got coming in the next couple of weeks should take them out for good.

No specific food recommendation against flukes - feed a good, healthy diet every day, enough to keep them robust and in great condition. I use a mix of mostly frozen (about half of which is either LRS or Rod's Food, blends of amazing ingredients), nori, clam on the half-shell, and some flake / pellet foods.

Velvet can also be a cause for blotchy color loss in fish, due to gill damage. This is most often observed in angels, even without other outward spots or symptoms but tangs can have similar occurrences. Keep an eye out for other ailments if you don’t quarantine and treat all new additions. Unfortunately, in today’s environment it’s not if, but when, velvet makes its way in.
