Need some tips

I am new to the salt water life I have some wat of wat I am doing I got live sand and rock not be in yet and the power head's and filter was wondering if I could put the rock and sand in with out salt water or rodi water

Yes you'll have to get some salt for your tank. Get some salt to cycle your tank with what you have. What size is your tank and how much live rock do you have?

Depending on the size of your tank it might be easier to just buy synthetic salt water from your fish store. Mixing your own at home can be a lot of work if you don't have the right setup
