I need some suggestions for a centerpiece fish in my new tank. Tank is 5ft x 2ft x 21" high. I currently have a yellow eye kole, bicolor blenny, orchid dottyback, redhead solon wrasse, blue eyed cardinals and a pair of clowns. Plans are to only have one larger fish and all others will be smaller. Planning mixed reef.

Sort of depends on your budget but I like Mystery Wrasses and Borbonius Anthias' and would consider them a centerpiece fish :)

I just recently got a pair of goldflakes as my centerpiece.. they did pick at my scoly and lobo that I traded in and did nip at a chalice but I think that stopped.

Any fish that is active can be a center piece in my mind. Wrasses, angels or tangs can all be good themes.

If your goal is to get one species of big fish as the centerpiece of your tank.
I'll try a pair of moorish idol.
Or a pair of copperband butterflyfish.
A bit easier to keep than the moorish idol.
