ok I'll have my 240 (240 DT, 40B sump, 40B 'fudge and plumbed in 40 frag tank) up and running in a few days and I'd like your thoughts on my tang list.

Powder Brown, Gold Rim and a Purple.

They will be living with a pair of clowns, Leapord Wrasse and Neon Dottyback.

I'm sure that as time goes by I'm sure that I'll add more fish, but I'm really interested in the tangs at this point.

Thoughts?

All recommendations I've received are that tangs should go in last (or near-last) as they are more territorial than most, in general. So adding tangs first may make it more difficult to add more/other fishes later.

Having said that, I have zero experience with tangs so far. They are the final thing going into my tank. All that remain, in fact - I'll be ordering them once back from an upcoming trip. I can't really speak to the list you've got, but I'll follow along to see what others say. :-)

Choose between the powder brown and goldrim tangs. They are very closely related and look very similar. Aggression between the two will be very bad in a 240.
