need to add one more fish! opinions please!

so i have a 29 gallon display with a 15 gallon sump, minus everything about 40 gallons total water volume. i have 35-40 lbs of live rock and 60 lbs of sand in the dt. in the sump is a filter sock, and a reef octopus nwb 110. im adding a 10 gallon frag tank to the system in the next month.

i currently have 1 yellowtail damsel (about 1.5 in total, has not gotten bigger in a year), 1 royal gramma, and 2 sa fancy snowflakes clowns.

i want another fish. i would love a dwarf angel but the tank is only a 29 and i love my corals too much to risk it. i would love a wrasse, or a goby of some kind. i got into this hobby to have a mandarin dragonet, but after much reading don;t think that will work in my tank,

help me out, give me ideas, opinions, criticism, all is welcomed. thanks.

im really hoping to find something awesome at wtfragits sale on the fourth. already bought the shipping and wanting some kind of awesome fish. my lfs is not really an option for a fish purchase so it will be bought online and shipped to me....

How about something like a prawn goby, there's a few different ones to choose from and I've always found them fun to watch.

FWIW I had a cherub/pigmy in my 15g with no nipping and no issues.. very happy fish.. he got the boot when I got a clam though, he nipped it a few days after I got it and that's grounds for a one way ticket to a new home. never bothered any coral though..

A scooter blenny (dragonette). They are great fun to watch always out and about. Most readily eat non-live food. I've had one for close to 2 years.

Love the Lyretail Anthias. They have very bright color, and they are reef safe!

Blue spotted jaws are sooo cool. If you don't mind the cost then you shoukd definitely get one. Just make sure your tank has a full top which it looks like it does

i'm leaning towards a goby/shrimp pair or a wrasse. for wrasses i'm looking into mcoskers, carpenters, linespot, or lubbocks fairy. reading up on them now...

Honestly, i cant believe im gonna have to be the first to say this lol ( dont take it the wrong way), but i would not add any more fish at all. 29 is a "nano" tank and i think one more might affect the tank and its bio load in a negative way.

I have had a mystery, melanurus, gramma, bangeye, and 2 sa black ice clowns and a happy reef for years!

I have an oversized skimmer and plenty of rock and sand. Also adding another ten gallons of water volume in the next month. So it will be 50 gallons total. All my params are at zero and have been forever. I do weekly 5 gallon changes and will be bumping that up to ten gallon weekly changes when my frag tank is running. I think I'll be ok with one more small fish.

I don't think he'll be overstocked.. that would be two more fish than I have in more than 2x the water... and I think I'm on the light side of bioload personally..

The only wrasse suitable for this tank are Possum and Pink Streak IMO.
I'd go with a small goby, shrimp or a perching species. As both the damsel and RG may pick on a Possum or Pink Streak wrasse

I was just at a friends and he has a yellow watchman goby. It had little blue dots on it. I think I'm going to go for one of those. Do they pair up with pistol shrimp?

Ended up with a yellow watchman goby and a tiger pistol shrimp!
