need to boost my cal

So I was looking at Randy’s recipe 1 for a calcium additive. I’m kind of confusedabout it and don’t understand if all Calcium Chloride is the same. I knowsomeone who works at a brewery and he may be able to get me some. Would I beable to use it for my tank?

I wouldn't use it. You never know what ingredients may be in it. Save yourself the risk and wondering and get some reef grade from Bulk Reef Supply. While you're waiting for your shipment, purchase a small amount from your LFS (SeaChem, Brightwells, etc.)

+1. i completely agree with this post. You never know what else is in the CaCl2. Buy it from BRS. It is pharmaceutical grade and is easy to use.
