Need to buy a new light!!

Hi guys,

I have a jbj 40 gallon. I currently have the ocean revive reef light on it which I bought over 4 years ago. Looking to upgrade. Can anyone suggest a pretty affordable (under 300) light to replace it with? Thank you so much

There really isn't an "upgrade" in that price range that would cover that tank size.

I guess the only way to upgrade in that price range, try FB yardsale. Back in the day, I purchased Radion for just at 300.

I got a 6 bulb 4' T5 Vivosun fixture for like $200. I hung it over the LED fixture and put it on a timer and boom! instant hybrid setup that didn't cost thousands of dollars.

As long as your current fixture is working there would be no reason to buy a newer one.
