Need to catch my goby!

Does anyone have in tips on catching a very smart bullethead goby in a heavily scaped reef?? Lol. I have a trap in there and he doesn’t go near it. He waits until the food floats out...
 
Let’s see a photo of your tank... Low Tide method (High and Dry, like @cloak said) might just do the trick. But also maybe a series of dividers... send a photo or two if you can. ;)

How big is the tank? If it's somewhat small you might want to consider the High & Dry method outlined in the link below. This has always worked well for me. GL.

That is a very interesting article. The night time flashlight in the eye is worth a try if i can maybe put some blackworms in to get his attention

... OK, based on the photos, you can’t really use the divider-method too easily. But a large Rubbermaid trash can and one large (or several smaller) siphons, and you can drain that tank quickly— your corals won’t be out of water long. But your Goby will find himself in a net by the time you reach 2” of water. Lol.
