Need to know please.

Sorry folks I am heading out of town for work and do not have time to research myself.
I doubt these are harmful but would like to know what they are please.
I was topping off the water in my sump and found them.
I have not found any in the display so far.
I have three peppermint shrimp and some Trochus snail's in the sump.

Look like pineapple sponges have a google and see if that's what they look like

Yep, pineapple sponges. Good filter feeders and just right for a sump.
