I'm looking for advice on lighting a Cade 1200 Peninsula. (48x27x24). Here are the options I'm considering:

  1. Kessil A360x (Qty 2) + 2 AI Blade Gro’s. Need to decide on 39” vs. 48” and I need some advice on a hanging kit.
  2. Ecotech XR15 Pro (Qty 3)
  3. AI Blades (Qty 4). 2 Grows / 2 Glo’s. Also needing input on 39” vs. 48”.

Cost and not buying more PAR than I need are factors. Also getting a good looking hanging mount or tank mount for a Peninsula.
Would 3x XR15’s be enough PAR for a mixed reef eventually?

I have Noopsyche, AI, gen 4 xr15, reefbreeders and black boxes. I think 3 xr15 would be enough but I'm judging from the three gen4 that I have. I have no experience with gen 5 or 6.
Two photon 48 V3 pro would light that tank nicely and grow pretty much anything :winking-face: one would probably be enough for most things but I would rather turn my lights down than wish Icoukdbturnnthem up more. I just ordered a second photon to add to the one already over my reefer 300 36x24x24". I also have one over my reefer 170 and corals are really doing well. Just a suggestion.

If you don't mind me asking, what % are you running them at? Beautiful tank by the way What is it?
I run them at 100% intensity =P. I have diffusers though. The tank is innovative marine
