I need to move my rock flower to my new tank so I can break down the one it's in now. But I'm having trouble getting it out.

Best I can tell, it's attached to both the rock and the bottom of the tank, so I can't take the rock out yet.

For that reason and that it's close to the glass, I'm not sure I can get a good angle and seal for the foam and pipe method. I've tried just wedging a pvc elbow in there, but he just spreads out on either side (he's about 4 inches across).

If I can find some foam and cut a triangular shape shape with a hole, maybe it would work... any other ideas?

Credit Card slid along glass will move it off, then you should be able to pull the rock out.
At that point you can probably rearrange rock to do that method if you choose, but if it's part of the glass you'll probably be able to slowly work the 'Nem off the rock also slowly by hand or by slowly working something like tweezers, etc under the exposed foot. Once you get a side loose it doesn't take much to slowly work them loose. Just be patient and it will not harm the anemones foot.

Will this work? I can't hold the rock over the tank anymore. The foot is out, but the face is in the water. I've been at this for 30 min...
I have an acclimation box in the tank ready to catch him. The rock is sitting on the overflow box.

I finally got it off. Had to carefully work at his foot with a credit card. The whole process took about an hour and 45 min. I should have mentioned he had been attached to that rock for 6.5 years
