So yesterday while doing some cleaning I dropped my skimmer and it basically shattered, RO 2002s.
In a panic I ordered two skimmers which will arrive tomorrow. They are basically at opposite ends of the spectrum and I cant decide which to keep. The tank is 100 gal system mostly SPS with a heavy bio load probably like 25 fish, I haven't counted lately.
I like to keep a super clean tank, thought I should mention that.

The two I ordered are the Bubble Magnus Curve 5 and the Eyos Quantum 160. Please help me decide.

i use the bubble magus curve 5 on my 120 gallon system i have like 10 fish and feed heavily, the only sps i have is a mystic sunset montipora and a monti cap, both doing well and growing however a refugium is a big contributor to my phosphate and nitrate export.. the skimmer does a good job though and works to my expectations... i have no experience with the quantum 160 but i think if you have reactors and stuff to assist the curve 5 you could have the water you're looking for..

that good to know, it would certainly save me a ton of money. I know there are about 5 billion other skimmers that fit the bill these just happen to be the only ones I can get shipped in one day.

i understand I've had to do that... it really sucks but the curve has worked for me and I've heard good reviews from the quantum skimmers as well but they are too pricey for me since im a college student lol
