Need To VENT!!!!

I have had the worst luck getting frags. All I am going to do is ***** so everybody can skip this post I just need to vent!!!! EEEERRRRR Lost so much money it is not funny buying or tradeing zoa's.

I did a thermos swap and the person stuck the heat pack in the thermos with frags put in small ziplocks. Of course they cooked from the heat and then the bags leaked and the heat pack stopped working and the frags froze. They did not even put the thermos in a box to ship in the middle of winter! Lost them all. All I sent plus extra's are still doing great for them.

Did a frag pack buy with one of our members and all the heat pack was wrapped in newspaper and put directly on the frag bags layed sideways. Lost all but one frag. Member did say he was going to make good but not seen any frags.

Ordered from one of club-zoa sponsors and the frags were overheated and looks like only a frag and a half is going to make it. Good person so I am sure they will make good on it. I hope...

Got these in today--picture of what they had posted and what I got in 1/2 hour ago...Where are the polyps "no polyps on back side"? Paid way to much to begin with for it!

Man yes the zoa's we got from you are doing great. I am sorry about the luck you have had with zoa's and shipping. Maybe we can set something up with summer to send you some frags. We have never had any issues.

No need Driftwood "Rose". Thanks for the offer that is very generous of you. I am glad they are doing good for you but you were not the one who sent me the thermos with dead zoa's. That is why I truely believe you should never join in a swap where you do not get and ship to the same person. Most swaps I see are not doing it that way and as I have found out it is a good way to get screwed.

I am just having a run of bad luck so needed to vent. I had two beam and cokes at lunch and blasted my Custom bike around town and feel a ton better. That will probably change since I am going to the SOX game tonight with a bunch of my friends but I am a die Hard cubs fan:sleepy3:

I agree in the same swap we did get dead zoa as well we did two swaps but oh well such as life. LOL I actually got zoa's today in a different swap and they are doing great I was scared at first the box was soaked and the thermos wouldn't open but the zoa's opened just fine. Hope for better luck in the future.

Yeah I guess people dont undestand Heatpacks need oxygen to work if they are sealed in a thermos they stop working. I never liked using thermos when I did these zoa trades.

well im the sponsor in his run of bad luck and i use top grade boxes and my only mistake was using a heat pack lol this time of year can be hard to judge from my state to your side of the woods and honestly my little voice told me i didnt need to use a heat pack but didnt listen lol.Anyways you cant be 100% all the time but ill back up my mistakes and ill state here as i told him in a pm ill replace any that are lost plus ship to him on me so hopfuly that will put a twinkle back in his eye

I thought I seen those on Cquariums web site. Several have posted before about what you get and what kind of a vendor you may be dealing with. It is truley buying at your own risk with that one, and you dont always get what is posted. Sorry to hear.

let me say that just from that post i am going to buy frokm you in the next few months--- just need to figure out what i want

i have been ripped off on the internet (ebay, individuals, and businesses) so i know how it is. Never did a thermos trade but everyone needs to ship the same way. Give a way to ship so that these animals can make it through the trip and everyone is happy.

Jody by no means would I ever put "your name" and I had bad luck with your shipment on a thread. You right away let me know you would make good on it. I am a firm believer that you can do right by people for years but all it takes is one bad post to tarnish a image. Sometimes I think people jump on bash wagons way to fast. I am glad that people can read my misfortune and learn how you were stand up about the situation and from doing so you will get ahead in the end.

Coralnutz I too am going to look at frag swaps like you do. Unfortunately when I spend shipping money, packaging, my frags and time. I can not help but to get a little upset when in return I receive something that is dead and only because someone did not bother spending a minute of their time to read basic thermos shipping info about how to package them.

Only reason I like shipping to the same person that you receive from is if they have to look at your beautiful frags all the time GUILT kicks in. Then they are more likely to make good on any problems. Like you said I might as well just do a trade then.

I know my misfortune is going to take a turn for the better. It allready has thanks to good people here at Club-zoa.com. Thanks guys for letting me vent and your support...:cry:
