Need urgent help with GHL doser

Ive been painstakingly trying to configure my doser to work for about 30hours and it has not worked out :( I just want it to work... ive done everything that has been recommended and watched videos from GHL and its still not working. Im trying to connect through lan and have put my lan cable in and have connected through GCC and put it to LAN aswell as putting it to find the ip automatically but no luck. Please im at my wits end... can anyone please help me? Thank you

You were not able to upgrade the firmware it fails - check.

It usually never this hard to configure it, especially when you have it connected to a computer to verify. Done nearly a dozen of these.

When you connect it to your lan - did you go into the settings where I said make sure it was lan and did it show a IP address? Can you sceeen shot that screen with the updated settings?

Is the light blinking on the lan port on the doser?

You could go into your router and confirm if device did grab a IP address also (if your tech savvy)

Sorry your having this issue also, this is not the norm.

Yes, couldn't update the firmware

Yes I did exactly as you advised and I restored it to factory between when you and I last spoke.

I have also bought a new router and went and did that but still with no luck

I had a similar problem when I setup my doser. The problem was with my computer not retaining the data package. I was seeing just what you are seeing. Go back to to you tube video that shows the setup directions. Follow them closely, I can’t remember the exact terminology however you will need to send the data package to your computer several times. After several tries it will work. GHL has great support they ended up setting my doser up remotely. You may have to go this route, you will need to down load team viewer to your computer for them to help you. They will walk you thru, The doser is fine, I understand your frustration I was hating my doser at first, however the doser wasn’t the problem. The guys at GHL will take care of you.

Light on router? Also the doser has been glowing white aswell!

I love the unit aswell and it works superbly through GCC but I will definitely await someone from GHL to help me out through team viewer!
 
Have you tried to just use the wizard? I just set up a sa doser a couple weeks ago, but it didn't give me any problems?

Same issues here the ghl logo is blinking white and cant connect to wifi i hace to connect via gcc which is frustrating since i bought it to be able to connect to wifi :mad:

Try using a different computer to set it up. Your current computer isn’t remembering the data packets. You can send the data packets five or six times and it might remember the data. Or do like I did and contact GHL. The doser works great after you get it setup. I’m glad I have mine.
 
@Diegosreef - Did you follow the steps in this video?


Since your connected to the device via USB, can you show us the Network configuration page of the device.
 
@Diegosreef - I saw you posted on the Facebook page also. That you did follow the video to try to connect.
 
I notice your wanting to use a static IP is this correct? Just wanted to make sure?

When you use the Wizard does it see your wireless networks?

Its does and yeah a static ip
