Here I have my 10 month old tank. I am debating on removing the center piece and replacing with a new column.

I think it looks good but ultimately your the one who has/gets to look at it everyday so I would suggest to go with your gut.

First off... Wow!!! That's some tank for only 10mo old, nice job!

My opinion would be to leave it as is. You have it stocked with a bunch of frags that could make it look really impressive when they grow in.

But I agree with @Slim64684, it's your decision to make. Goodluck!

Debating on building a pillar in the middle. Think I might just leave it most the fish sleep in it at night. Just hate that it grows algae due to lake of flow through it.
