So I am cultivating nano Phyto and have been selling a 16oz waterbottle for $5. I feel like my packaging of the product doesn't look great as they are in regular waterbottles. I was wondering if it was you would you rather pay $5 for the unprofessional packaging of the product or pay a couple bucks more ~ about $8 to get a reusable higher quality/more professional packed product. This would include a typed out sticker with my name, date of harvest as well as dosing instructions. While my current packaging all this is hand written.

You heard the man @Fishy65 and he is putting his money where is mouth is... ;)

haha thanks guys for the advice. I was thinking the more professional looking product would be something I would want as a consumer. I would love to hook you up with some phyto but as of now I am going to stick with selling locally as I need to figure out the best method of shipping this.

Order bottle of ChaetoGro (Brightwell Aquatics) from Amazon and see how they packaged it. Mine came in a 4x4x9 ULINE box with brown paper. Box is about $0.25 each. https://www.uline.com/Product/Detai...oxes-200-Test/4-x-4-x-9-Tall-Corrugated-Boxes

Bottle was 250ml (8.45 floz)

Place inside plastic bag like we get when we buy a coral. Done.

Got my 16oz juice bottles in today! Labels will be here next week. I will be offering 16oz and 22oz bottles(had the 22 on hand). If you guys would like to see a preview let me know as I am making a sample bottle today. As for pricing I decided to do the 16oz at $10 and 22oz at $12 as I think this is still a pretty competitive price point for Live phyto.

You could even use mason jars~

I could but a couple things that I took into consideration. Price-live phyto is relatively expensive and you use a good amount of it. At one of my LFS a 32oz bottle is around $30-40. I wanted to keep cost as low as possible so I went with plastic instead of glass. Also glass is heavier and easier to break. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I think @Frigus Reef was thinking more to after he used the Phyto... :D

Ooohhhh I understand now. I was thinking it’s reusable, won’t potentially pollute like plastic bottles, and pretty price efficient.

I was going to do glass but the weight and finding a safe place to store them would be challenging. The juice bottles are a little more higher quality than standard water bottles allowing uses for them once emptied :)

Here are the two sizes. The left is 16oz and the right is 22oz. The left one has the temporary "paper labels" which will be white backed sticker and a little bit different font on the final label coming next week. The right bottle has our first attempt label on a clear background which we found did not work well. Anyways I am happy with the results and it def beats the unprofessional look of a standard waterbottle lol. What do you guys think? Disregard the airbubbles from the taped on paper label haha. These both measured @ or around 20 million cells per ml.
