The last few times I have gotten fish the clowns have always come down with brooklynella , and the tangs and other fish die from ice . I have tried quick cure dips in my quarantine tank I keep it in hyposalinty . My display tank has had the same two fish in it for the last 6 mths. I want to add more fish but the only store around me is the one that the fish always get sick . Are there any fish that don't get those diseases and is there any other treatment I can do on the fish .

I can't think of any fish that won't contract those sicknesses... Are you sure they didn't happen after you added the fish? What are your water parameters, tank size etc?

If you have ich parasites in your DT, you will want to leave it fallow for 76 days before it's safe to add more fish.

The two fish left in your DT have acquired natural immunity to brook, ich, etc. But are still serving as reservoirs for the parasites, fueling outbreaks whenever you add new non-immune fish.

What you need is a "clean slate" in your DT, by going fallow (fishless) for 76 days. The two fish need to be treated with both copper & metronidazole to clear them of parasites.

Moving forward, I would QT all new additions to prevent this from happening again: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/how-to-quarantine.189815/

The way the marine fish supply chain is run these days almost guarantees that every fish in the chain will be exposed to ich, flukes, brook, velvet and a host of assorted bacteria between Fiji and your LFS. They may arrive at the LFS in separate bags, but they were in communal systems at the jobbers', the wholesalers' and in your local shop. Those systems don't get sterilized between each round of fish, so whatever was in them a year ago ... is still breeding in there, and has reinforcements.

Hypo is capable of working against some strains of ich - but not all, and not against velvet _at_ all. Quick Cure dips help - but don't finish the job.

I was going to go find Humblefish's "How To Quarantine" thread, but he's beat me to it. Humblefish is a smart guy - smarter than aquatic diseases. Listen to him.

My tank size is 150 cube with a 75 gallon dump . The fish that are in the tank are the only ones that made it threw the QT . Tank parameters are phosphate 0 cal 380 , kalk 12 , temp 78 and salinity is 0.026
