Need your guys suggestion

So I need your guys help! Should I buy a new apex or just other equipment for my tank I’ve been wanting the new apex for a while now! Lol

Here is the equipment on my tank currently.
Equpitment:
Mp40x2
Mp10
Eshopps overflow box
Skimz sumpro sump
Ai Prime hd lights x 2
Avast marine kalkstirrer
Apex JR
VorTech m2 return pump
Refugium light

Do you have an rodi unit or an ato? That would be next based off your list... otherwise why not

I would just weigh the pros and cons v other equipment. What is the final equipment / setup goal of your system? If there is something else that you could get for the money that would have a bigger impact then get that first. If you are at the point where closer monitoring and control is the next step, then I would get the Apex.

I have some sps but I would love to get more into it have some acros the only other thing I could think of is a calcium reactor

But I think for my need dosing kalkwasser is just fine and my levels have been really stable and all in range, so I’m gonna go with the new apex I believe! A little info on tank it’s been running for just a tad over a year and in the last month or so coraline has been growing ridiculously fast.

I just bought an Apex and a trident. I barely have the apex running, but I love it so far.

Just a warning, it gets expensive fast to get it to do everything you want it to do. Before you buy, figure out how many outlets you want to control / monitor. You might need a second one of their power strips.

The only stuff I could think of getting before an apex might be a second return pump to have on hand as a spare or to run in tandem as a backup. I bought two S2’s over a single M2 for that reason.

Maybe also consider an inverter/charger and a few batteries or a generator to mitigate an extended loss of electricity?

I often spend a month or more away from my tank and an apex and some webcams are a part of that plan. I feel very confident that I can leave my tank and be just fine.

I have a generator on the house specifically for the tank and yeah I would need an extra energy bar but I love my apex jr but I feel it’s time to upgrade

Honestly, I have no clue about Apex compatability.

I know there is a help forum on Neptune’s website. I’ve gotten some help there when I was trying to figure out some of the programming. They respond quickly to questions posted.
