I was having issues with my corals dying on me. I could not figure out what was wrong. After several months I finally figure out my salinity was up around 1.033. The refractometer was always reading 1.025 or 1.026. Once I figure out the issue and fixed it, I developed red cyano algae. My problem is I can not figure out how to get rid of it. it is smothering my corals and on a few spots on the sandbed. I have increased my flow thru the return, cleaned all pumps. I have 2 Tunze Waveboxes, 2 6100 Streams and 2 6105 Streams
The return pump is now a Waveline Apex Ready DC10000II water pump.
Water changes, lights ou, etc. have not helped.

short video shows some of the algae
