Need your input:


I have a Red Sea Max S500 building it up to an mix reef with softies and LPS as and fish. How many fish can I have in my tank? What do you think of my current stock? What do you suggest for good hardy colorful corals?

Running GFO and Carbon. Adding live bacteria and starting with trace elements. 2 micron filter bags and refugium.

Hammer

Octo

Mushrooms

Silver Branch Xenia

Elegance Coral

Open Brain


Want more brain and buttons like. For color.


2 Leopard Wrasse

1 Dottyback

2 Clowns

1 Golden Head Goby

1 Bi Color Blenny

1 Midas Blenny

1 Cleaner Wrasse

1 Six Line Wrasse

1 Tri Color Wrasse

1 Yellow Wrasse

1 Blonde Naso Tang

1 Yellow Eye Tang

1 Lavender Tang (maybe getting name wrong

1 Long nose Hawk

1 Niger Trigger


I’m hoping I can do Copper-band Butterfly and my son wants the mandarin.

I just looked at this tank and the tank itself is apparently only 119 gallons. I think that's too small for 3 tangs and a trigger. Also, by "current stock" do you mean that's what you already have or is that a list of what you'd like?

Thank you for your input. Yes that is what I have already. Yes it’s 500 liters. 119 in main and 20 gal sump

I think that's way too small for those fish. For reference, I always check out Live Aquaria for recommended tank sizes before I buy. The Niger Trigger alone has a recommended tank size of 180 gallons.

They are all small to medium now and I’m planning on getting another bigger tank later.
