Heading to the Michigan Frag Swap this weekend and looking for ideas on what corals I should add to my 29 gal. I feel like I have a bit of hole on the left side of my tank and want to fill it with something, hopefully with different coloration than what I have currently. I am also open to moving things around a bit to help with the overall look of things, so there is that to think about as well. I recently moved the green birdsnest forward on the rock, but still need to clean up the mounting obviously (It was a quick decision that resulted in poor execution). I also thought about moving the euphyllia on right to the other side but my wife says it would be too much green for that one side.

I am currently running a two bulb T5 fixture with ATI Blue+ and Coral+ so the lighting requirements can't be too crazy. For flow I have a Tunze Nanostream 6055 running at 100% pulsing 50% on/ 50% off along with a Koralia 425 to try and break up the consistency. As far as chem, I run alk at 11dkh, calcium at 430, and have my nitrates between 5-10. Sorry in advance for the dirty glass and please overlook all those vermetids.

These are both excellent ideas! I’ve been thinking I need some yellow in my tank.
Yes, and the torch will provide some movement which is sometimes lacking with hammers and frogspawn. A red goniopora would give you some color contrast as well.

My only concern with a torch is giving it room to blow around so to speak. I do love the movement they create in the tank though.

How about a jawbreaker shroom, it could eventually fill in some of the far left rock and really adds some bright glow.

I definitely forgot to post an update on this, so apologies for the delay. I ended up buying a torch and a bta. After that, I moved a few things forward to make the tank look more full. Now to figure out my next fish...

If you see anything in my tank that you think looks nice for a coral, ask. I love my aussie Gold Torch(middle bottom) and black w/gold tip Octospawn left side halfway up. Mind the cyanobacteria from bryopsis decay. This pic is with 2x B+
