Looking for somebody who has tapped tanks in the past who can come to me and tap it. If you know of anybody let me know because I'm needing this done pretty fast and not really wanting to have to load it up and take it to anybody. The tank is a 6 foot 125 I have went through the sun glasses thing in the sun light to see if the tank it able to be tapped and not seeing any reason it shouldn't be able to be. So I need somebody with a past of drilling tanks to come and do this for me and take a look for theirself if it is able to be done. I'm not wanting to spend to much money to get it done so if the guy/woman is wanting an arm and a leg to tap to then I'm not the guy for it to happen. Thank you in advance for the info and I'm needing this done asap so i can start running this tank to get it cleaned and ready to be my reef tank.

do you have a bit? I have misplaced mine, plus I doubt its the size you would want for a 125gal anyway.

I don't but I can go get the bit if needed. Just this setup is on my 2nd floor of my home and if you know about these tanks you know they aren't light. That is why I'm not wanting to take it out anywhere to do it

i have drilled a tank once, so not super experienced. where do you live? I may be able to help you if you get a bit.

I have drilled tanks in the past my best advice get a new drill bit because the newer the drill bit the easier n smoothly it will for the tank esp 6ft long.

Ooh yeh I had plans on buying new bits just wanting somebody who has done it before to give me a price to come and do it I will buy everything needed

I can drill it, I have 2 bits on hand that are for a 2" bulkhead fitting and a 1 1/5" bulkhead fitting. I drilled my 75g currently up for sale and recently drilled my sumps and fuge on the 180 gallon. You will have to supply the bulkheads obviously. Are you wanting to drill the back or the bottom? If the bottom is tempered, it cant be drilled. Will happily help drill it, you just have to cover the gas from me to get from point A to B and maybe have a beer or 2 handy. :)

That's not a problem and wanting either or because I'm still not 100% sure what I'm looking at with the glass
