I recently got back into the hobby after a 10 year break. Instead of buying a new tank I chose the hard road and bought a used tank off FB Marketplace. It’s got a 5 gallon sump and came with a skimmer, which is busted. I’ll get a new one and add some GFO and carbon to the sump. Other than that it’s a great little starter tank. I think I’ll go for a little zooanth garden. Something simple to ease me back into the hobby. I’ve had the tank operating for 48 hours now and noticed some little hitchhikers - teenie asterina stars. I may have to get an harlequin shrimp if they start eating my zooanths. But overall it’s a good little tank.
