Why do you want a BTA? How about going for a LTA, Malu Sebae or mini maxi anemone instead? Less chance of roaming as they are sand dwellers. The mini maxi you can put on a small rock island surrounded by sand and keep it isolated.

Okay so I shouldn’t use any sorta bio media but do sand?

I use sand for my tube nems since they enjoy burrowing their bodies into sand but it really depends on the nem. @footgal knows way more about BTAs than myself so I’d trust her advice on this question...I currently just keep the tube nems and a condy
