Nem got "stuck"

My nem got stuck last night in a power head. It's a Hydor so the slits are small and he did not get shredded!! I do not see any visible rips in his flesh but he is not wanting to puff up and intake water. I would assume this is just a sign of stress. Anything else I can do for it besides leave it alone ? All other tank mates seem fine atm.

I would just turn off the powerhead and he should eventually work himself out of the powerhead. Not much else you can do.

I shut the powerhead off and he came right out. He just looks like a football player that got hit really hard atm. Didn't know if there is anything I can do. Thank you for responding so quickly

Nope. Fight the urge to do anything. Whatever’s gonna happen is gonna happen. Sounds like you’ll be fine though, I’ve had some so badly into the cage the power head had to be cut apart (let’s not ask what I keep spare wet side covers for my vortechs on hand now) but they still made it.
