Can someone please help me identify this? I know the pictures are hard to look at but it's small and in a hole. Also it only really comes out when lights go off on the tank. It seems to have grown a lot in the past cpl weeks. Not sure what to do since it's next to a Duncan of mine. Also, notice the balls on the tips. It's pretty translucent but glows quite green under blue lighting.

hi, looks like ball nem..

The thing is, it has a 'body' that looks like a regular nem. I couldn't get a good picture of it though because it's down in this hole.

The tentacles look 100% identical to that of a hidden cup coral but the body is what is confusing me.

put a small rock over hole, leave small opening, see if crawls out .

It really does look like the tentacles of a hidden cup coral. You’re 100% sure it doesn’t have a stony skeleton?

I don't see one. I am going to try and get a better look tomorrow but that will require me to move the rock around (probably) I took some better pictures above. You can kind of see it's body.

I looked at them. I'm not sure. Corkscrews and Knobby's don't seem to have balls at the end of their tentacles and are more pointed.
it is possible it could be something else or one of those 2. I have seen both of those nems exhibit balls on the ends of the tentacles before.

If it possible to get a pic of the mouth?

Also, if you wanted to remove for whatever reason or to get it to where an ID would be easier, and it is a nem. There is a sticky in the nem and clownfish section about how to safely remove nems. They do not have to be photosynthetic to use it either. The purpose is to stop flow and light. This allows even NPS nems to be removed.

I moved the rock and got a picture of it's base. You can see it in the middle. It got mad when I moved the rock though and hid lol.
