I inherited three anemones from a tank breakdown. Lighting was provided by a XR15; 'nems were halfway down in a Red Sea 170. I have two AI HD Primes over my Reefer 350, with aquascape ending a few inches below the surface. Settings are on one of the Signature settings. One light is directly over the 'nems. The anemones look...squashed as they reach for the light. Should I add another Prime? I've got a spare.

Both existing Primes are on the 12" mounts.

Light is just one factor in nem health. How old is your tank and what are your parameters. If you have a spare, add the other prime. 3 will give you better coverage overall, not specifically for the nem but for corals in general.

Tank is 16 months old. Note that the picture was taken during ramping down period; 'nem attitude is similar during peak lighting.

Tanks is otherwise populated only by xenia and fish.

This is the other one in an IM 40, halfway down, illuminated by one Prime:
