I have 3 rather large anemones in my 32 bio cube that have been in the same place for 6 plus months. I loved where they were cause I could keep them away from my corals and they took up a beautiful spot in the tank. But my large white one was getting stung by a green one for a while. Didnt think to much of it but now it decided to go for a walk and I already had to evacuate some acans. The next nearest are corals I will not evacuate so if it keeps stinging things its gotta go. Anyone got any idea how to entice it into a certain direction? anything helps.

Place a rock in its path and wait for it to walk onto that rock. Then move that rock to where you want it and hope it doesn't move too much. Or point a powerhead at it to discourage it from walking in that direction. What type of nems are these?

Hmm good idea. I guess he liked the spot he was in because he went back to it. Might have just wanted to take a walk

He moved again but I kinda surrounded the nems with corals like palys that seem to not mind their stinging tentacles at all and it kinda keeps them from running to far. Hes still in the general area and seems open and happy.

I would only keep 1, 3 are a lot for that size tank, and if they split even more trouble.

Wondering what kind of nems you have. When I hear white, I think of bleached nems or condylactis. Movement could indicate an attempt to get better lighting. If they’re different kinds of nems, they could be stinging one another and that could get them to move. Sounds like that might be the case. Are they on rocks, or in the sand? Coral growth over the past six months could have changed the flow they were getting. Reaquascaping could help, but it could also make things worse. Got any pics?

I bought one green bubble tip that split so I have 2 they are getting big but I have a invert tank they are going to when I wanna move them. The white one is very heathy I think it moved because the green was kinda pushing into its space. But I dont know what species it is because I found it myself it has purple tips and I've had it for like 6 months. Will post a pic when I can.

You cant see the white nem in this pic because he went under the rock but this is the tank 2 days ago

You can see on the left side the tentacles are retracted I think that's the green bubble stinging it

Color looks good. I think you’re right about the green guy being a bta. Not sure about the other one. Your tank looks great. Might have to wait it out and see how things unfold.

Thank you I appreciate that. I've kinda just been letting him walk around moving coral out of the way. The green was bought with bubbles but I've never seen them in my tank. It split as soon as I added it and the other stays on the peak of the rocks
